Kelly Clarkson covered Metallica’s “Sad But True” for the Kellyoke segment on today’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. It was her first time covering the band, and it seems like we have Isla Fisher to thank for that. The actress appeared on Clarkson’s show back in February, and convinced Clarkson to cover them for a future segment: “You should do ‘Sad But True,’ your voice would be amazing,” Fisher said. Watch below.

The Feeling Is Back

Drake doesn’t sound like he’s having fun anymore. In a different world, Aubrey Drake Graham might come off as Keyser SAPze on “The Heart Part 6,” the most recent volley (at least for now) in the extremely busy, extremely fun Drake/Kendrick Lamar feud. “The Heart Part 6” is the song where Drake says that he planted a fake story about having a secret 11-year-old daughter and says that Kendrick’s “Meet The Grahams” cover art was a setup, a way to reel Kendrick in. But Drake doesn’t sound like the master manipulator that he claims to be. Instead, he’s beat-up, surly, tired. “The Heart Part 6” is a Band-Aid, a chance for any remaining Drake partisans to claim that he’s really the winner of this past week’s events. We know better.

Frank Turner Planned A Record-Breaking 15 Gigs In 24 Hours, So Crywank Played 16 The Day Before

Last month, heart-on-sleeve punk Frank Turner announced he would attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most shows played in multiple cities in the span of 24 hours. He planned 15 sets between May 4 and 5 to promote his new album Undefeated. While the English musician accomplished that mission and is being praised for his feat, Manchester indie folk band Crywank played 16 sets in the span of 24 hours the day before.

Mach-Hommy a a#Richaxxhaitiana (Feat. Kaytranada & 03 Greedo)

Mach-Hommy, enigmatic pillar of underground rap, is based in New Jersey, but he’s always proudly trumpeted his Haitian heritage. Since releasing his big 2021 albums Pray For Haiti and Balens Cho (Hot Candles), Mach-Hommy has been back to quietly cranking out records like Notorious Dump Legends, Vol. 2, a collaboration with Tha God Fahim that came out last year. Today, though, Mach-Hommy announces his new album #Richaxxhaitian, and he also shares its title track, which features a couple of big-name collaborators.

Watch Trent Reznor, Flea, Ice-T, Lars Ulrich, & More In The Trailer For Paramount+as Docuseries Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza

Over a year ago, we got word of a docuseries about Lollapalooza coming to Paramount+. That series, fittingly titled Lolla: The Story Of Lollapalooza, is set to premiere this month. All three episodes of the series will go online Tuesday, May 21, and today a trailer for the project has emerged. The trailer hits the expected beats about rejecting the mainstream, offending The Man, et al, with appearances from co-founder Perry Farrell, Trent Reznor, Lars Ulrich, Flea, Ice-T, Tom Morello, journalist Jessica Hopper, and Chance The Rapper, who I guess was selected to represent Chicago and what Lollapalooza has become in its stationary era. Watch below.

Super-producer Metro Boomin doesn’t rap, but he’s still become a key figure in the big-news recent feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
